According to a Minnesota reporter, Fleck turned down the job.

Hoping that’s just his way of controlling the narrative and that we didn’t actually extend that offer. If so, it’s probably true that the search has fallen to the Tony Elliott level.

I honestly have a hard time believing that. Fleck would walk here to coach. He loves attention and that would be magnified 100 times at UT.

 

The choice of having an IRL conversation with Indy or getting AIDS would definitely give Tenny pause.

Hard to replace a guy that you are helping to stay employed.

 

Or at least come out with a “you can’t turn down a job you were never offered” type of statement.
