I will say here in Houston almost all of those are illegal sex trafficking enterprises. Basically if a massage parlor has heavy black curtains on its front windows you can guess what it is.

Attacks are up. Thank god it's not white people this time, so all the white folk can look the other way and pretend it isn't happening.

Said... so many white people on this thread.

Ya, I'd rather focus on constructive ways to curb or end this stuff, not focus on which stereotype it feeds.

Has nothing to do with looking the other way. Just pointing out how agendas emerge or chance based on the culprit. Black muslim is a blip on the radar. Trump hat wearing cracker is 24/7 headline. Some see it. Some dont.

See what, exactly? Have not every single one of these things been brought to national news?

    And also amateur news?

This is a website based on Tennessee football, and we've talked about it.

We are as niche as can be, and we've talked about it. It can't almost get smaller world than us here.

I guess some see that, and some don't.

So, if true, why is it?

Perhaps a constructive way is to identify who is dong it and focus on why rather than looking for the boogie man in everyone.

This is just my hypothesis, but demographically both groups tend to live in urban areas and thus individuals in either category are more likely to have an interaction with the other group per individual nationally, than say the average caucasian since many caucasians live in rural settings where they may not encounter any other demographic, significantly dragging down the average number of cross-demographic interactions for the group as a whole. The limiting factor in interactions would be the smallest demographic, people of Asian descent, so the less overlap tends to bias towards more of these events occurring between those two more predominantly urban groups.

This is a dispassionate line of reasoning so not good fodder for the ole crisis machinery, and may also just not be why, but something to consider.

Who as in the individuals? Agreed, understanding the individuals' path to that point could be constructive. Who as in a group, which may not be what you are saying, seems like it'd be echoing the original problem.

Perhaps, but probably not. There is an extreme likelihood that the "why" is illogical. And you can't focus on illogical things.

But what you can do is tell people to be aware, and try their best to reduce their likelihood of attack.

By focusing on the "why" you are literally looking for the boogeyman within the individual. What drove them to do something. What is their inner id.

Just take note that violence is increasing, and be more aware. That's an easy message. Understanding what makes someone tick is hard.
