Wbo cares if he got a pay raise, not like it came out of your pocket. Good look for when the time comes to replace him with a star.

I don't think many realize how small these numbers are in the scheme of that business. It's worrying about nothing.

I don’t, really, it’s just kind of a UT pattern

It’s kinda just how it works. Should he become the highest paid coach, it won’t be long until somebody else comes along and pays another coach more. And so on.

It the ole “who ya gonna get instead” argument.

That's what I am saying. If you graph this out over time, what makes him the highest paid now will not last more than a season. So then if we gave him a multiyear extension with it, we are actually "saving" something for a few years as the market price only climbs and we are already set pat. Like a salary cap, but without a cap.

Rough week for recruiting. Brandon Miller doesn't have us in his top 4 and Cason Wallace, a 5 star who looked to be committing to us a couple of weeks ago, is now shortly going to commit to Kentucky as his "dream school" swooped in late after we did good work on him for so long. [uck fay]ing bastards.

They’re both still visiting soon. Miller was a long shot. His dad doesn’t like us.

Miller is a Bama legacy. Was always going to be an uphill battle.

Hopefully he goes pro. We really need to blow Wallace away on his visit.

Is the AD's poor NIL plan hampering efforts? I've heard this is the case.

Meh. It wasn’t going to be a big class anyway with all the freshmen we have this year. Still could get Chandler Jackson and end up with two 4 star guards in the early signing period

Poor? They have staff members dedicated to NIL

About how much $ they can make. He said the transfer portal was going to be even more busy when players realize this.

How many spots do we even have open next year?

Technically, zero at this time. Fulky is out of eligibility but he isn’t counted against the 13 limit this year as a Covid super senior - we actually have 14 on scholarship this year. But Chandler is a likely one and done and BHH may be as well (less certain about him though since he apparently is going to come off the bench). Plus there could be a transfer or two, or perhaps JJJ has a big year and opts for the draft.
