Happy Birthday 8th!

We've yet to peg down an exact date, but we are in the ballpark, and our first birthday just might be today. We're still small compared to say TOOS, but to think we've grown this much in just one year with the unmatched quality of our posters and bloggers shows how big we can be without sacrificing user rights to their own thoughts and opinions and their ability to express them (aside from Google's censoring). With the quality of the members on this site I know we are only going to get stronger. Happy Birthday 8th, here's to many more to come.

I think this is the day the forum was first made, with it being open to the public sometime in August. Been a good year.

Ah. Well I think we created a rudimentary version of the website in July, then officially launched and sent out invites on August 13th. Cool.

 

If the strippers blow...sure.

August 13th is when the site went Public.

 

I actually thought our mods only version was open for more than a month, shows what I know

 

And I do know that the preliminary version came out before I left Afghaniland which was the very very end of July.

 

You could just read the date of your last PM on TOOS to get a ballpark.

Thanks to all of you guys for making the decision to start this site an easy one, and for all that you've done since, both to grow and sustain it. It has thus far exceeded my grandest expectations. While there is more to do, and we are planning to do it, I'm very grateful, and personally, to everyone who is here. Even the hippies and atheists, smelly and destined for hell as they are.

It's your site, really, and that's just as the founding members intended.
