Agreed, but I’m still surprised Oregon made that hire… seems like they could have done a lot better (read: guy with actual HC experience) than Lanning.
I wonder if the ‘AA will ever address the thing where a coach accepts another job, yet stays at his old job… I suppose it’s like a two-week notice in the real world but CFB isn’t the real world. If I’m paying a guy millions of dollars to come work for me, I don’t need him working for someone else, especially when I have a recruiting class I’m trying to hold on to.
