West Lafayette smells like shit. Literally. If you’ve ever had the unfortunate experience of visiting, it hits you right in the face the second you roll down the window or step out of the car. In fact, there’s nothing redeeming about Indiana north of Indianapolis. One of the worst drives in the USA is from there to Chicago.
I've been to Westfield and Carmel area for Grand Park for a couple tournaments. That area seems nice and similar to tn suburbs. And to French Lick to play golf but that hotel/casino feels weird.
The drive on I-16 from Macon to Savannah is awful too. Like driving on the surface of the moon. Nothing whatsoever to see except pine trees and state troopers…
From Louisville to Columbus Ohio isn't the best. I actually despise the entire state. #1 on my despise list.
They're named after a drink where you drop a shot of whiskey into a beer and chug. Or maybe the drink is named after them because that's what you have to drink to be able to tolerate living there.
Yes some areas just feel weird. I stayed in a room on the circle one time and the slant was crazy. Made bathroom trips after a night at the casino interesting. Last time I stayed down on the end near the steakhouse, stepped off the elevator and got a Shining vibe
For some reason, War of the Worlds just messed with my head. And those windmills make me think of the walkers in that movie. And it freaks me out again.
