Even so, 15 inches would fall Saturday night, Friday night would have an apocalyptic run on the grocery store, and then it would be all melted by Monday afternoon.

 

I think we'll only get rain down here, which I'm fine with.

 

I'll go on record and say Nashville gets no more than 6 inches, and more likely 2 or 3 inches.

 

If European model holds have fun Nashville!

I used to clean over 80 parking lots when it did this, I only have one great big one now

 

i'd like to see the european model.
I'd also like to see other projections of the snow coming.

 

Reading the weather forums when trying to determine the effect of these storms is fascinating, but, holy hell, they have more jargon than most any forum I've ever seen. It can be hard to follow.

 

How reliable is accuweather.com?

 

I own a landscaping company and I don’t do it anymore. I almost got T boned about 8-9 years ago by a lady going 60 mph down a hill in a snowstorm. Slammed on her brakes and barely missed my truck. That was close enough for me.

Not to mention I had to go pick up most of my guys, they would always get trucks stuck and half the time they didn’t want to work in the snow despite me paying double time.

I use WUnderground for day to day and it’s solid.

None of them are very good at predicting snowfall though

 

Accuweather has us getting 6-10 inches. Everywhere else is saying rain with an inch or two. Of course, it really depends on the air in the valley. It could go a bunch of ways.

That's the truth. Someone somewhere is going to get dumped on, but exactly where it happens is hard to say sometimes.
