You think that check is cashed already? Just in general, when do most of these NIL deals kick in? Not holding out hope for this dude, just wondering in a general sense if this will make flipping kids worse or keep it the same.
Depends on the state they live in. California is one state that allows high school athletes to make money on their NIL.
Nothing paid yet but word was he got a pretty strong deal and it keeps him home so family can come to games. I think NIL deals are going to make it harder to flip kids. They will probably stay loyal to who paid them first or at worst give them a chance to up the money if competing against another offer late.
He's originally from American Samoa and lived in Cali with family for awhile. Just an IMG kid last couple years. He did get a mammoth bag though.
