got qb, some skill and speed Wrs, elite TE and help at db. Feel like we need another OL, big DL or 2 and help at rb
Milton has to be assured an NFL roster spot whenever he comes out. Now it’s a matter of making all the throws and reading defenses. I don’t think many foresaw how he has handled himself, especially after the disappointment with injury and losing his job he was recruited to do. Really hope he balls out. Still don’t like him standing and staring then firing it 100 mph on a slant. He’s gonna break some fingers if he doesn’t get rid of it earlier with a little touch. Put some Wuerefuhl in it
I think you're right. This talks about his last visit. Sounds like a Vol to me. https://www.si.com/college/tennesse...visit-to-rocky-top-for-vols-win-over-missouri
There’s really no film though, is there? His deep ball is amazing, but we’ve not seen anything else from him. I may be missing something, but it seems all we have at this point is freak measurables and a spectacular long ball. Just not sure that answers any questions for the NFL guys.
NFL guys are paranoid midwits. They are always going to draft him based on pure potential. It really comes down to the money he wants. I think his limited showings this year does enough to vault him over all low ceiling finished products. Returning next year could be a gamble. If he comes back next year and is supplanted for the THIRD time in his college career then he will be a very late draft pick.
So, being supplanted twice in his college career isn't a problem to NFL scouts, but that third time would be a killer for his draft stock?
I don’t know a ton about the NIL market, but Milton has become a bit of a budding legend in Knoxville. His NIL situation may be better in a 1-year window than his potential NFL earnings.
If Levis is considered good by NFL scouts, any freak athlete at that position should at least take a look. It can't be a high bar.
