Netflix Streaming Recommendations/TV Talk

Book was written by the original writer of Christmas Story. They got all the original actors back. I'm willing to give it a shot. No good, iyo?

 

There were some moments but overall I didn't think it was all that good. I liked how they paid tribute to Darren McGavin's character, probably the greatest Christmas dad character ever. If you are a fan of A Christmas Story I say still give it a go.

 

Greatest movie dad ever. He was amazing in Billy Madison too.

 

Great show that got completely ruined by the worst TV episode, finale or not, ever. Absolutely the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

 

Well, season 1 of Andor is now complete. If you have been waiting to binge it, now is your time. Please, watch this show. It is not a great Star Wars show, it is a great show that happens to be Star Wars. It is so [uck fay]ing good, I cannot praise it enough.

I got 3 episodes left. Will probably watch them tonight. One thing that really bothers me is how all the actors on the show say "schedule" sounds like "shedule"

Black Adam on HBOMax today. Gonna have to watch that tonight.

 

Guardians of galaxy holiday special was perfection.

 

Spirited was also excellent. Very well done.

 

So far so good with The Last of Us.

 

The latest episode of The Last of Us is one helluva hour of television

 

I am struggling a bit to get into it. I need to try a little harder though as I know quite a few people who really like it.

 

not sure episode 3 will help. It’s like they had special guest writers and the show vibe changed.

 

I don’t really agree with that. They did a lot of the same from episode one, which was fleshing out an untold story from the game

That said, unless you played the game you wouldn’t know that’s what’s happening

 

Shrinking on AppleTV is great. Jason Segal and Harrison Ford as therapists.
