His new nickname is “3rd and Jauan”.

9ers media guys all singing his praises today as well, not just The Athletic.

He’s always smiling and seems very appreciative. Makes you want to like him without even considering how he plays.
Y’all remember a couple hits he had on ST? And of course the Vandy one.

Off the top of my head, Dobbs and Derek Barnett are about the only others in the conversation. Kamara and Patterson weren’t really here long enough.

Kamara was here long enough, the chucklehead jackleg that was in charge just didn't put him on the damn field.

Dobbs and Sutton would round out my top 3 I guess.

I’ll never fully process the Tennessee Volunteers possessing a literal All-Pro NFL RB that could not have been a better schematic fit, yet deciding he is best fit to back up a future NFL TE at RB

Most iconic Vol from that hellscape of a decade imo. Dobbs was probably the most important as far as being the singular guy whose on the field play directly led to the most wins, but Jennings is a Tennessee folk hero at this point.

I’ve never seen a player truly *LOVE* playing the sport of football like JJ does. He’s not that fast, yet it does not ultimately matter despite him playing the receiver position. He just wants to play freaking football. The ultimate football guy.

Jones should schedule an appointment at least annually so he can literally get on his knees and kiss Dobbs' ass for keeping him employed at Tennessee for so long despite his stupidity.

Then you remember we kept Dooley after he tried to quit like a [itch bay], so Jones would have probably been fine here without Dobbs.

I think he was gone in three barring Dobbs or an equivalent stroke of luck.
