For those who don't want a jersey but would still like a nice UT baseball shirt - https://www.utvolshop.com/Nike-Dri-FIT-Cotton-Baseball-Plate-Tee_3?page=1
I always thought LSU fans were pretty cool until I started paying more attention to college baseball. They better be happy Arkansas exists or they’d easily be the biggest losers in the conference.
LSU football fans are fine, but yeah the baseball crowd is annoying. i've never met either LSU basketball fan
Even though it may not happen often, wonder if we will see some lesser stats with runs scored, rbis and HRs when teams are normally free swinging against a not so great pitcher up 10 in the 8th.
Was this even necessary though? I can remember a Pac 12 team last year down 11 runs in the 9th only to come back and win the gam(UCLA over Oregon ST I believe). Arkansas scored like 11 or 12 runs in the 9th to tie a game a few years ago in the SEC. I get the practicality of the rule from a standpoint of not wanting to burn through arms, just not sure how I feel about it tbh. Feels kinda Rob Manferd-ish just making up baseball rules that isn't real baseball. Run rules are so travel tournaments and HS. To me you should always play 9 innings in college and professional baseball regardless of the score. Needing to get at least 27 outs in order to win a baseball game is just how it should be imo. With that said it's not the end of the world and I'll get over it fast. Will be hilarious when we can brag "you got run ruled". Conversely it will also be highly embarrassing when/if we ever get run ruled.
