    Great DC hire for them.

Should not discount his SEC bona fides, imo.

The Volquest podcast guys do not seem concerned that Golesh is leaving at all.

"Heup had both hands on the wheel and was just letting Golesh turn the signal on"

I am not either. Heupel's offense was doing these things long before Golesh joined him at UCF.

This is so much better than having a figurehead HC like Fulmer so that you have to sweat anytime there is a coordinator change. Having a HC who can develop quarterbacks at a very high level is a sustainable competitive advantage.

My first thought when they hired this guy was “well, at least we know he is actually good at something”

My first thought was to fire up the Google machine just out of curiosity. After the previous 3, I was numb.

Its been likely for awhile since he has been on the road recruiting.

He wasn't on the road, that was a different staffer

Heard they had an analyst on the road helping with recruiting and just assumed it was him. Was it Thurmond?
