Kiffin got Sills to verbally commit to USC when he was 13. Couldn't hold on to him though.

Nobody should be getting offers that young. Everyone thought at the time he was going to turn into an all world QB and he turned out to be just a decent WR in college.

 

Not sure that’s the best example. He switched positions as a freshman and at least in part stayed put because he was so good. Two time All-American and led the nation in touchdowns. I think he’s still on a roster.

 

Kiffin was actually fired before he signed. Sarkisian honored the offer, but Sills decided to move on.

 

I believe he's still a New York Giant

 

Traded to the Broncos this season. Not sure if he saw any game action. Been yo-yoing between active roster and practice squad.
