Bummer of an edit, smokey. You asked for it when you said "Yankees," though.

A Rod is a [ussy pay].

Granderson, Jeter, Rivera and Sabathia, I like.

  8. I like Granderson. Always have. He's the only current Yankee I like at all though.

I like the hell out of Jeter. He just goes about his business and he's always got a dime piece on his arm.

Sabathia is a fatass but he's a hell of a pitcher.

Rivera is probably the best reliever around.

  10. I don't disagree with any of that. They are (or were in Jeter's case) good as shit, just don't care for any of them.

Brett Gardner plays the game the way I love to see it played. A-Rod, on the other hand, is the antithesis of what I call a baseball player.

Hate to see someone pimp it at any level.

I'm still not a fan of buzzing the tower. I am, however, a huge fan of putting everything you have into a man's ribs. Pitchers, and baseball players as a whole, are way too weak and sissified in today's game. At all levels.

Society for American Baseball Research. If you ever hear, Sabr-metrics (pronounced "sabre" metrics) someone is talking about the stats those guys come up with. I assume that Quanah is referencing the Pythagorean winning percentage, which shows how a team should be expected to perform based on their runs for/runs against.
