You know it's a thin FA class when BJ Upton is 5th overall.

Just to report a few important things for now

-Josh Hamilton wants a HUGE CONTRACT worth in the range of 170-180 mill range;apparently a 7 year deal. He has been mentioned as a fit for the Brewers.

-The Angels want to get rid of Dan Haren, expect it blew up in their faces when the deal to the Cubs for embattled relief pitcher Carlos Marmol fell through.

-The Phillies are looking to add speed to the outfield. Names like B.J. Upton and Michael Bourn have been thrown out there. Don't be surprised if Shane Victorino is thrown in the mix for a return.

-The Nats have been mentioned as a possible destination point for Michael Bourn

BoMel AL Manager of the Year.

I'm not saying Showalter didn't do great things this year, but I laugh at the argument being that Showalter did more with less. Oakland started almost all rookies in the starting rotation and the biggest name player on the every day roster is CoCo Crisp. I don't think it should have been as close as it was, but well one look at my avatar and it's obvious how biased I am.

Melvin became a threat to win the honor from Buck after pulling one hell of a feat against the Texas Rangers. Other than that, Buck essentially had it locked up.

In the NL, it was a no brainer despite Dusty Baker should get honorable mention. Mike Matheney as well.

the marlins were a mistake from the beginning. it's really sad that a franchise like that can claim 2 WS titles, while one like the Cubs... well, not really. But still, the Marlins are a joke.

Yeah, seriously. Canada spending money like it's 1994. the Yankees and Red Sox are going to be the bottom feeders in that division.

While others will opt for the preferred option of taking a kick right square in the [penis].
