Go ahead, I dare you. Chris Christie is not waddling through that door. If Republicans nominate anyone besides Romney, they might as well save the campaign money for 2016. The collection of troglodytes and raging retards lined up for the primary is an embarrassment to the nation. We deserve better than that. Romney is the only one who has a prayer of panning out to be a capable leader. Tell me where I'm wrong.
Besides him, neither of the big two have anyone worth a shit. This is the worst group of candidates I have lived to see
Admit it, if you haven't said you have at least heard that every election cycle for the last 16+ years. Americans clearly just suck.
I see it like this. Most respectable people dont want to be dragged through the gutter, so they steer clear of politics. Both sides play dirty pool and Americans never get to hear what either side has to say for the bullshit propaganda each pushes off on each other Examples: Republicans want to take your welfare and medical care. They hate gays, blacks, and are generally racists Democrats are all socialist and communist sympathizers. They want to run your lives and take your guns Instead of doing what is best for OUR country, they constantly play party lines. If Obama said that he was going to balance the budget, had proof he could do it, the Republicans would be against it If the Republicans had a jobs plan that would work, the Dems would be against it. Washington needs a giant enema. Term limits would be the first move. No lifetime pay and benefits. Compensation for time served only. Put caps on campaign funds. No Washington lobby by corporations or special interest groups. Get rid of the electorial college. I could go on and on
As bad as Obama is, I can't vote for a person who wants retroactive criminal charges, or wants to go out of their way to invoke their religious values as national policy. I am not alone on that. If Bachmann is the candidate, I'll be pulling the lever for someone else-- maybe even Obama, if it looks like it will be close.
hate blacks and are racists? are you kidding me? you want to talk about racists, no need to look further than the libs, they blame whites for everything. blacks(not all, but the wanna be thugs) hate whitey. however i would take Cain, he's my fav, but i don't believe he has a shot
Count, you are absolutely right. Our nation has been bought and paid for by corporations and special interests who have the money to pay for 'access'. The average working citizen is having to, as one esteemed 8th member's avy eloquently states, 'Bite the pillow; I'm (the government is) going in dry.'
wasn't there a time when the vice president was the candidate who got the second highest electoral vote count? we really should go back to that system as well as repeal the 17th Amendment
Is this in reference to my post? I wasnt saying that. It was an example of how the politicians use propaganda against us I dont believe that
Let me recast the question a little to really make sense of this. The Republicans are not nominating a president that can win New York or California. They are running a presidential candidate to win four states: North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio and Florida. If a Republican can win those states they will win the election. So, the question becomes, can Perry or Cain or Bachman, or Santorum do that? And I think to Perry the answer is yes. Cain I don't quite know. Bachman could be a wild card if she plays her cards right. Santorum is a non-factor as of now. Obama's war chest is huge. His only shot at losing is if he let's the Republicans hang the economy on him and let them re-cast him not as a liberal, but as a know-nothing empty suit. Perry is so far taking that approach. Will it be enough to get him through New Hampshire and South Carolina alive in the primaries? I don't know. But if Perry can win those four states and hang onto Missouri that's the election
Not sure how electable Obama really was, minus a 6 year run of Bush clearing a path for him. Obama is doing a pretty good job of rolling out the red carpet for a challenger.
