Don't think it's been posted yet, but The Pharmacy in Nashville is my favorite burger I've ever had. Great beer too.

Bit out there. Will check it out next time I'm down, though.

At the tail end of French Quarter. Not a far walk down Bourbon St. and actually sort of tranquil compared to a lot of the city.

Yea, I pulled it up. It isn't too far from Blue Nile. Which means it isn't too far from a parking lot. Which is good, otherwise too far to roll on a full stomach.

Not sure if folks have been watching the show Burger Land on Travel Channel, but tonight they featured Tennessee. Among those listed: Rotier's, Fat Mo's, and Dyer's. Unfortunately, no burgers from East TN were mentioned.

This is a great show, btw.

Dyer's is greasefully delicious. Always thought Rottier's was kind of overrated.

Dyers is awesome. Never had a bad experience there.

Had the original Dairy Hart still been in business, I'm sure they would have made the show.

I can vouch for Fat Mo's.

Dairy King is awesome as well, but the burgers are overshadowed by their chocolate fried pies

    I would endorse all three.

The Prime Chophouse Burger at Red Robin is worth a try. Better than 5 guys, IMO.

A nice time in Memphis is having a beer, burger, and fries at Dyers and walking outside to a live outdoor band right across the street.

Preach. Handy park is the place to be on a weekend

Preach on brother. They used to have free country concerts every Thursday in the summer but they moved it to Southaven at the request of the sponsors.

Fat Mo's on Franklin Pike is awesome. We used to go there after track meets.

Yea. It got moved for two reasons. That park is hard to police and was a bit too small. Some of the riff raff was beginning to roll in. Also, Sams Town and Harrahs were the title sponsors and they wanted to get people closer to their casinos so they moved it to Southhaven.

Add two more burgers to the list: Split Bread, in San Francisco and Town Topic in Kansas City.

I think Town Topic is the best "diner" burger I've ever had. They grill the onions into the beef as it is cooking. It's what a Krystal burger would taste like if they actually used fresh ingredients. (And I believe Bourdain visits here when in KC).

Split Bread is a hipster-ish kind of place, but they bake their own bread, which frankly, only a handful of places do any more. The burger all the way has an excellent thousand island sauce. Would recommend.
