Under 25 pts a game on defense. I would be amazed if the rush defense gets under 4 a carry and under 130 yards a game.
Hope we see something out of Dobbs and the young receivers by the end of the year. I think OE mentioned this in the other thread, but the eye test is big as well.
1. Do whatever it takes to hold the recruiting class together 2. Beat somebody we shouldn't beat. 3. Make a bowl. 4. Find a QB moving forward. obviously, these are all interrelated.
6 regular season wins. And honestly, as another dude said, if he's going to do anything here he'll pull an upset year one. May lose one we should have too, but Butch specifically needs to prove he can out-coach.
Get to 6 wins. No embarrassing blowouts. Improve over course of year. Show me he can hold his own X's and O's with the best once talent gets up to speed. Those last two are probably going to just have to pass the eye test.
Pass the eye test. I'm understanding that the win column won't look great. But I wanna see effort, and improvement as the year goes on. That is at least a sign of good coaching which is my goal for season 1 with the Butcher.
