Ive been limited to only fishing at the folks ponds. One is catfish and the other is bass and brim. Bass is more fun

Been doing some catfishing. No crappie or bass. Been too busy around the place. Plus, I'm saving up time for Deer/Duck Hunting

The ULTIMATE Walleye Fishing Thread!!!! By Popular Demand

Here it is, by popular demand. Discuss all fishing here! I'm an exclusive walleye fisherman in freshwater. All other fish ain't shiz. (can we actually cuss here?) I also do surf cast fishing and deep sea fishing.

Discuss tactics, lures, lies, whatever. Just have fun and remember: THE WORST DAY FISHING IS BETTER THAN THE BEST DAY AT WORK! JayVols

    About damn time!

This heat has really slowed down the bass bite this summer at Norris

How was the walleye bite on Norris? I usually fish around the upper end, but didn't fish that lake this summer?

Well I've never fished for walleye, I'm a bass man.

I've caught four walleye in my life all by accident.

3 times while sauger fishing and once while fishing a crankbait for bass.

First one I caught was by accident while trout fishing under the lanterns on South Holston. I now almost exclusively troll for the little SOB's.

I have fished one time for them in Murphy, North Carolina. A good friend of mine's grandfather owned a marina on up there (I can't even remember the name of the lake).

    We got skunked.

I don't think I've ever pulled a Walleye in. They must be tough buggers to catch, since people apparently always get their first by accident...
