From 1 to 10, how good is this hire?

 

One of the few Tennessee guys that actually deserved a job here. [ock cay] fans loved him.

 

Heard he most likely will be taking the same position as he hax at USCe and we will hire a special teams only coach.

 

This is a good hire. I would go with a 9. But it was a no brainer. He is recruiting the same territory and is a Vol alum...he evidently has done well with RBs as a coach. I do not see the negative although someone will tell me one...

 

Graham was sneaky fast and could change the game at a moment's notice. He upstaged Eddie George in the 1996 Citrus Bowl game too. Loved Jay, love this hire.

 

Good hire IMO

Only better option I had seen tossed around was Larry Porter. Jay Graham is a good pick up for Dooley.

 

Im all for that. We need to find the next level there.

 

For us Graham > Porter IMO....

Id give it a 9. Hopefully it will get us back into NC and SC recruiting.

Mike Davis has suddenly become available and would fit your criteria.

 

I think this will turn out to be a good hire. Always liked Graham.

 

Jay will be the only guy on the staff now still wearing UT colors in 2013.
