Eric Cartman with the top pick? Also, Sunny doesn't really have a "glue guy", it changes episode to episode as to which character is holding the show up. No Andy Griffith or Barney Fife? Walter White falls to 14? Disgraceful. The SEC power rankings were solid.
I didn't really have a problem with the actual football side of the article. I'm trying to figure out which one of you is Al Davis and who is Jerry Jones. Riddled with bad choices in the TV draft.
People seem to like the Bonus Power Rankings waaaayy more than the SEC Power Rankings. I thought last week's BPRs were quite solid (I had last week's BPRs all to myself: http://www.rockytoptalk.com/2014/9/16/6146189/the-most-powerful-sec-power-rankings-week-3)* Anyway, the TV character draft was tough because it was a random spur of the moment thing and we didn't let each other have internet and we were giving each other no more than 30 seconds. All things considered, I thought it came out pretty well. And I disagree on Dennis Reynolds. While, yes, each show will feature one character more than another, it is Dennis' ego that ties it all together and makes it work. And Eric Cartman with the top pick all day err day. _____________________ *Also it appears that this was week 4 and not week 5. Oopsie.
nailed it. before i read invol's above response i was trying to think of a snarky response, but i ultimately realize now that i kind of feel bad for all that gahlee has missed out on.
It's also the smartest. What those guys do is incredible. They hit on virtually every topical issue, and it's always seamless and it's always funny. That's really really tough to pull off, and they've been doing it for 17 seasons now.
I think the quick turn around on episode production means they can satire stuff while it is still very fresh in the news. That adds to the show's humor.
