President Obama coming to Pellissippi State

Should make for an exciting day at work!

 

Traffic will be a delight.

 

Especially here at the Hardin Valley campus. The entrances and exits suck ass.

 

Local businesses will complain about lost revenue.

Man, I can't wait for election season.

 

Didn't realize Pellissippi State had a championship level golf course

 

Centennial is just down the road, 5 minutes from here.

 

Oh lord, military helicopter flying over campus right now.

 

President Obama visits Knoxville, and selects Pelissippi State as his destination.

The man is consistent, if nothing else.

 

Easier to lock down than UTK and easier to get to with Pellissippi Parkway coming straight here from the airport.

And I work here, so there is also the prestige of that!

 

I'm looking forward to not taking my kids to see him.

Not every day you get to see a President. Don't care who it is, personally.

 

I just can't wait until I am told to "respect the office" or some shit when there is an R in the WH.

 

what does that have to do with going to see this particular one? and honestly, none of the last 3 presidents has warranted much personal respect.

The presidential convoy is quite impressive, especially on a night route.

 

And honestly, if I didn't work here, I wouldn't go out of my way to go see him. Just good fortune (or bad, depending on how you want to look at it) that he is coming to my place of work.

 

There probably aren't many presidents that I'd go hear speak.
