Is very, very obvious. Cuonzo needs some more Jarnell Stokeses if we're going to compete.

As for coaching, Cuonzo should concede that this team is a bad defensive team and start playing some zone. Would have paid serious dividends tonight.

Only because Tennessee has almost no talent. There's not a more overrated roster in the country than Memphis. A whole bunch of their guys are legends in their own minds.

A coach could win with Memphis' roster. A hardboard guy like Huggins would dominate with that roster.

There are maybe four guys on the Memphis roster who would last a week with Huggs.

Maybe because of their attitudes. I really don't think they are overrated talent wise.

I think Pastner is an enabler, not a great coach. He gives them free reign to do as they please and that's why they are underachieving.

I'm willing to let him do whatever he wants this year to get his team the way he wants it going forward. We knew this year would be horrid midway through last season.

Joe Jackson and Wil Witherspoon are the two most overrated players in the country. There's a pretty good case to be made that there are only three players on that roster who aren't overrated, Crawford and the Barton brothers.

Pastner is simply a guy who has no business being a head coach.

Adonis Thomas is an outstanding prospect as is black.

Tarik Black has been there for two years and all he's shown is an ability to commit a foul about every three minutes. All Thomas has shown is an inability to take minutes away from Black or Witherspoon.

He's been there for 2 years with a shit coach. That's my point. Black's got skill; I think if he played for Tennessee, he'd eat Kenny Hall's lunch and send his ass to the bench in a heartbeat. Adonis Thomas would be an immediate starter on most teams in the conference. Joe Jackson, while definitely being overrated, would have dominated Trae Golden if he had guarded him the whole game. The Barton brothers are both fantastic as is Crawford. The talent's not overrated, outside of a couple of their guys. They just simply have an AAU coach at the helm.

Pastner definitely has that "I don't know what the [uck fay] is going on" look* on his face at all times.

*This look was invented by Wade Phillips and then modified for full effect by Jim Caldwell.

You guys could have at least given me a shout to let me know yall were talking about Memphis. Let me make a few points.

First, hat is correct about the roster. Witherspoon and Jackson are overrated. Witherspoon is soft and is the last remaining player left over from the Calipari era. Jackson is too short and been told how awesome he is since middle school. Combine that with playing in your hometown and you get an overinflated sense of self worth. I think he can be a great asset to the team if he figures out what he is and stops thinking he is an NBA prospect right now.

I still dont know about Pastner. He is definitely lacking at managing egos, which unfortunately is a primary issue in todays college basketball scene. I think the players respect him but they dont fear him. I respect a lot of people but I tend to act much more careless and indifferent around those who i dont fear. They arent afraid of him and have no reason to be. Its the coaches job to motivate the players and until Wednesday, this team hasnt seemed motivated outside of Will Barton all season.

Tarik Black had a good game against UT. We have a new coach on staff that is a big man specialist. Its safe to ay now that the Luke Walton hire was a mistake but Jimmy Williams has done a lot to help Black and Hall since arriving last month.

Side note, Will Barton might eb one of my favorite Tigers since I started school there in 2003. HE made a promise to Josh thathe was going to lead the team in rebounding before the season started. He also said he was going to take less 3 pt shots. Well, the kid made a promise, motivated himself, and now leads the team in boards and scoring at a mere 6'5" 180 lb frame. This alone makes me understand that Josh cant motivate these guys. He also has a bunch of nice guys on his bench. He needs an enforcer or at least someone who will get in someones ass when they need it. Steve Forbes might be a good fit.
