I'd say he has a good shot of being in the top 10. Whether that translates to wins or not, I can't say.
doubt he'd be drafted that high without having a great year. I do think he's a legit first round qb. great size, arm, release. reminds me of a thinner Philip rivers. defense likely will suck though. with cal playing a lot of first year qbs this year, the opportunity is there. not sure dykes can do it though.
That's just it: with sucky defense, Goff could be putting up huge numbers due to playing from behind. And putting up huge numbers that don't overcome the inadequate defense.
oh he's going to put up huge numbers no matter what. I'm trying to think of the last first round draft pick whose team wasn't even bowl eligible. Can't come up with one. Locker? I think they were 8-4 or something.
