For FCS and smaller programs that don't have the resources the sites are a good source.

The second paragraph was not a response just a related comment.

I don't disagree. The sites get their evals from the same sources --- camps / combines & film (HS coaches, Hudl, family members, ... ) --- as coaches. So yes, there is a correlation.

For Chief? Everyone knows how he feels about 'cruitin'

It directly led to his decline in recruiting. He didn't put near as much work in, instead just circling guys on the list and cold calling them for the most part.

No surprise there (or if he used them as placemats for his KK and coffee) and sounds eerily like another (2010-2012) coach who will remain unnamed

i guess he might be right given how terrible the conference is, but it's hard to see that kind of turnaround.

Not sure what to expect on O. Like us their o-line which has been questionable should be improved. They've got a good defense returning.

The last week to ten days have been a lttle turbulent. His buddy and Dir of Football Ops, Jim Minick suspended indefinitely, five players (one, two-time All-Conf DB Countess) have left the team and all-time KO leader (returns & yds) DB Dennis Norfleet has been suspended.

Interesting. I didn't know about all the departures. Not surprising though.

Mizzou's defense takes another hit ...

DE Marcus Loud has been dismissed from the team for unspecified violations of team policies.

W/ the departures of Ray and Golden, 5* DT Terry Becker qualification status doubtful, and a new DC there's concern mounting in Columbia.

I bet the Mannings have a lot to do with those averages. Alabama suffers from having 2039839 players in the NFL.

Oh, no doubt "big" money contracts boosted stats. Sure Tannehill's $95,272,000.00 help move TAMU up the scale.

Nkemdiche, Tunsil, and Treadwell are likely high first rounders in '16

Personally, it's quantity (people) over salary avg.
