Former Vol, Zack Godley made his debut starting for the Arizona Diamondbacks against the Milwaukee Brewers. He got the win. He went 6, giving up 4 hits, no runs, no walks, and 7K's. The interview with the parents during the game was pretty interesting.
3-0 now. Didn't give up any runs again. Diamondbacks may have something going with Godley, Bradley, and Corbin.
The current Yankee who made the earliest MLB debut with the Yankees is Clippard, who left and came back. Does anybody know of another time when the Yankees roster included a player who made his MLB debut with the Yankees, left, came back, and had his MLB debut be before any player who had been with the Yankees his whole career until then?
Was it the same guy who was the only player to subsequently be on a Yankees roster before another player made his MLB debut with the Yankees after anyone else who had been on the Yankees his whole career? If so, I think I know who it might be.
