About this DC search, to me, is not really who it will be.... I think we all now know it will be an undynamic hire.... no, the most interesting thing is how the process affects the Hart/Dooley relationship. We'll never know what opinion he formed, but Hart is certain to be evaluating Dooley across these days of the search. What is happening right now probably will carry great weight going forward. Derek is under a microscope. Our chances for change will be enhanced by the flaws revealed in Dooley's coaching DNA right this moment.

Hart can't get rid of Dooley fast enough.

Cements that many who know football find our coaching situation untenable going forward.

It doesn't help that people who have been here previously are being honest when asked by their peers about our completely dysfunctional administrative structure.

He'd have fired him after the UK game if the administration and the trustees had the requisite intestinal constitution to do what needs to be done.

Could you elaborate for those of us who don't actually know much about Tennessee's administrative structure?

Exactly. Dooley should have been terminated immediately after the Kentucky debacle.
