Damn. It's crazy that they were THAT close. One game.

I'll at least consider that idea even if I don't agree.

Unless Dobbs is considerably more accurate now, this is silliness.

Tee was blessed with a couple of receivers who could catch anything in a 3 yard radius of him.

And I'm not saying I agree with the guy, just that it's not the dumbest thing I've ever read.

I was over there. People arguing that Dobbs is better than Martin are saying it's because Dobbs is more accurate and can run faster. I'm not sure either are true.

I can buy he runs faster (perhaps), but he's not more accurate. That was Martin's strength.

    He's not faster than Tee

I wouldn't call Tee accurate. Unless I was comparing him to Dobbs.

I know, I know...South Carolina game, NCAA record, etc. That was really an anomaly though.

doesn't he and Rodgers hold the NCAA record for straight completions in a game?

    They does

I love me some Tee, but he was not an overly accurate passer. 55% for the career

    He wasn't at all.

yeah, but peyton manning was only at 60 percent his final year in tenn. offenses these days inflate those completion percentages.

Watch the Florida or Arkansas or Georgia games from 98 and tell me he was accurate. He was even worse in 99 w/o Peerless Price.

Again, I'm a huge Tee Martin fan.

I agree, but Tee was very scattered arm.

I saw probably 2 games that season and can't say I have the greatest recollection. I was mostly making a statement about comparing completion % than disagreeing with you.

Ask that Auburn cheerleader how accurate Tee Martin was
