Still relatively new here so not sure if this has been discussed are not...

How can one team sustain as many injuries as we have had in a single season? It's utterly ridiculous. Is it the practices? Do we need to look at our S&C staff and practices?

    I just don't get it.

Have we really had that many. Sometimes you just have bad injury years, nothing more than bad luck. I could be wrong and maybe more are hurt than I realize.

I do not think we have been bitten that bard by the injury bug

We aren't that hurt. Tuttle, Robertson, Kendrick, and North are really the only guys missing and I think North actually played last weekend.

North played. Hard to tell when he is on the field though, never gets the ball thrown his way.

Don't think there have been that many significant ones. Tuttle and Maggitt are all that come to mind right away. I guess Jashon Robertson.

Plenty of teams have been hit harder by injuries and not had their coach make excuses for it at every available opportunity.

Not an unusually bad year for injuries, imo.

2002 was bad. This is meh.

Georgia Tech has had a ton of 'em. And they just beat FSU.

My old man was going on about injuries this weekend. Of course, he's all about Butch so I try not to talk to him about football any more. He lives in Knoxville so I was wondering if the local folks are playing up the injury angle....

Clearly, Johnson has a lot of 17th year seniors that could step up after those injuries.

I forgot about Maggitt, too. Still not an overwhelming number.

But really that was before the season. And way before it at that.

not sure why that matters. he'd be playing a ton.

Because they've been recruiting a metric crap ton of DBs in recent years. They had plenty of time to get the next man prepped

Gaulden is young. Scientifically impossible that he could provide a positive contribution.

    Tuttle agrees.

The pre season injuries seemed a little out of the ordinary.

The injuries so far during the season haven't been bad.

Let me educate you. It's like kindergarten. Tuttle is a big kid so nobody picks on him. Gaulden does not have the critically critical mass to avoid being picked on. There's a chart for all of this that is pretty standard in this profession.
