Which college football teams have better rosters right now than Tennessee?

    I've got:
    1. Alabama
    2. Ohio State
    3. LSU

    After that I'm not sure.
    Clemson? Georgia? Ole Miss? Maybe.
Notre Dame? USC? Florida State? Auburn? Florida? Doubtful.

I don't see us being below # 7 overall in terms of talent. We may be Top 5. definitely Top 10. With 4 losses.

You don't understand. Our guys have to have their diapers changed at half time, not to mention formula feedings every quarter. How can you expect them to compete with Bama when Saban has had almost 10 years of recruiting to get ready for this year?

HOW THE HELL CAN WE COMPETE WITH 10 YEARS OF RECRUITING???

UT vs. Auburn....I think I'm giving UT the edge. AU has a lot of young guys that it's hard to say if they're slow developing or busts.

Its seems like its bad timing for all the guys they really want. It should be interesting how things play out for USC.

Clemson probably does. Florida State is top 5 talent wise too. I say Tennessee is 7th or 8th.

I don't think talent is our issue as much as depth.

We should still be a playoff hopeful. We aren't because our coach is dumb as hell. Period.

The only thing out of Butch's mouth that I've agreed with is his saying "we don't have championship depth".

Tennessee's starting 22 are some of the best in the country. Tennessee has good depth at RB, DB, DE and WR. The LBs are scary thin. The defensive tackle group had 4 guys that could play good enough with Williams, McKenzie and Tuttle playing the best, injuries have that at 3 now, maybe two.

The difference between Tennessee and say LSU or Ohio State are the fact their second string is good enough to start most anywhere. Tennessee isn't quite there yet.

This team is definitely good enough to win the East with a puncher's chance at playoff contention.
