this year? I have seen some talk that Azzani, Mahoney, and Thigpen all may get the boot. Any truth to any of this?

I think Azzani and Mahoney are gone. If Thigpen leaves, I assume it will be on his own terms, but this is as I see it with zero connections and zero contact with anyone remotely attached to the program in any way shape or form.

That said, I imagine Jones' will have is old High School coach as our line coach.

Is there any way to justify DeBord staying around.

By that logic, however, botch should go away too.

    Azzani is gone.

    Mahoney is gone.

I've heard Thigpen. But he wouldn't be getting the boot.

Some fans honestly think Deboring is the best OC in the conference. I am no longer friends with these people.

I'm no means a Debord fan, but watching Saturday, I can't help but wonder how much of this is on Dobbs just not being a good passer. The run game, simplicity aside, is 2nd in the league.

He threw 18 screens. Pearson had 7 or 8 catches for 36 yards.

    Dobbs is better than that.

    Any rumor on potential replacements?

Sheridan gets promoted to qb coach, DeBord goes to ol and oc and one of Butch's kids will coach wrs

He's better than that, but every down the field throw was also terrible.

No doubt he could get better with decent coaching, but right now it appears they've just decided to play their version of Les-ball.

Dobbs isn't a good passer but he's absolutely good enough to win. Dak Prescott and Brandon Allen are the premier qbs in this league. You don't need great passers in this league. You just need effective ones. They need to figure out how to make Dobbs effective. The problem with that is that with the OL being what it is, jones can't just play his passing game off vertical routes. And we know how jones is about changing his scheme.

    Slants, posts and drag routes.

And make 50 different versions of that.

    I'd this point, I'd take a slant.

I'm certain they do not believe Dobbs can complete even the most routine throws. This is the same guy that they tried to keep buried behind Justin Worley for two years.

Butch's sons aren't old enough to coach yet

Well if we had someone on staff that could coach quarterbacks they could teach him. I know Dobbs has a low ceiling as a passer, but to me when you look at a guy with the physical tools he has there is more to the story than "he just can't throw".

Wasn't even talking about that. Sheridan.
