Sutton, Maybin, Kamara

Have submitted their names to the NFL draft advisory board.

 

Good for them. Maybin and Kamara should go. I didn't think Sutton had a great year.

 

Kamara surprises me and doesn't surprise me.

 

Sutton played well. His stock is pretty high right now.

 

I thought Sutton would go, really hoped we could keep JRM and Kamara for one more year.

 

I think it'll be the other way on projections. It's hard to say with Kamara. How attached is he? Is a so-so grade enough?

 

One of the talking heads has Sutton going late first round in a mock draft. I forget who.

 

This is SOP for juniors. No need to read one way or other.

 

This is only the 2nd time Butch has had Juniors inquire about their draft status before a bowl game since he came to UT. Can't expect our Bowl Focus to be razor sharp.

 

Sutton has played well since game one as a true freshman. I wouldn't think anyone would be hesitant to draft him so long as his measurables are good, which they should be.

 

JRM will go if he even has a remotely decent grade. Sutton is likely as well. Not sure on Kamara.

 

Granted that I didn't watch many games after Florida, but there were a few games where he did not look good.

Disagree. Even when he gave up plays, he was in position and it was just a great throw.

 

He didn't look great in the secondary against Arkansas (then again no one looked good), and there was another game where I thought he looked very pedistrian.

That said, I'll be very surprised if he's back next year. Less surprised on the other two.

 

Who wants to play for Botch any longer than they have to.

 

Nothing to do with this thread. Very ironic though. Minnesota has Brick by Brick on the neck pads of there helmets. They're playing Central Michigan of course. Interviewed Jerry Kill on sidelines and he said he thought it would turn in year 6-7. Players are older and recruiting is better......

 

Saban already used that excuse.

 

Yeah, I remember being shocked at his poor tackling at times.

 

So in other words, nothing.
