Small cottage and local is the growing trend.

Walmart is already starting a pretty big local and organic move.

"More than 95 percent of the stores set to be closed in the U.S. are within 10 miles of another Wal-Mart."

    Oversaturation.

I expect the same thing from places like Dollar Tree and Dollar General. You can't throw a rock in any direction around here without it bouncing off of one or the other... Or both!

Amazon is now worth more money than Wal-Mart, and that lead will only grow.

They waited way too long to get going online, and they have too much overhead to effectively compete with them - even with their sizable buying power and other advantages - IMO.

Amazon and localization together are going to eat into Wal Mart's share.

They aren't going away, but they may decrease is stature.

So is this more Obama's fault or Hilary's?

You just have to drive 10 miles further. And there will more people in the store to make you feel better.

Yes. A (then) fledgling Netflix actually approached Blockbuster to do a sort of joint venture, and Blockbuster scoffed at them.

    A few years later....ballgame.

Naturally Dollar Tree is going to stumble. Can you have one not within a stone's throw of the Walmarts?

On the bright side, look for a bunch of new Tractor Supply stores to show up.

Love Tractor Supply, especially during live chicken season.
