Just cast my vote. Fella leaving as I was walking in nods his head at me and says "Trust Ted!" Nothing personal, guy, but any politician whose campaign theme is "Trust", I'm running as far away from him as I can get. Anyhow, how do you guys see this GOP race shaping up following South Cack?
So as the election results come in tonight we can count on seeing at lease 1 vote fore "write in" candidate "[ddiapos]".
There will be internal discussion about narrowing the establishment field down from Jeb, Rubio, Carson, and Kasich. Folks are going to have to bow out or end up choosing between Cruz and Trump. It will probably Jeb Bush first, it will sting him personally quite terribly. Then Carson. This will allow Rubio to run to the right of Kasich and look like the "reasonable choice" compared to Cruz/Trump. Just speculating.
I expect Jeb to bow out following SC as well. Can't quite figure him out. I'm not sure he really wants to be president. Feels like a guy chasing his father's approval, but does not appear that his heart is in it or that he's sold on his own candidacy.
Oh, come on. You can trust Ted. Dude comes from humble, blue collar roots. His old man came to America with nothing but a hundred dollars wadded up in his underwear. Decent, hard-working Americans can relate to a guy like that.
This seems like the ideal scenario for the establishment to get a candidate. But there's no telling what the 7% who are still voting for Carson at this point would do.
At some point, I might just have to sit back and enjoy watching R's nominate a Democrat with an overwhelming majority.
