I have a couple of side ventures, but primarily, I produce adult-themed (videographic) content for several distribution channels, including film and internet. It's neither as "cool" or "awesome" as you might imagine, outside of the first 7-10 years.

So, now having gone first in talking about my own, I thought it might be cool to hear from others.

What do you guys do?

P.S. Jewbaccah, the answer to that question should be about your occupation, and not simply listed as, "Men." or "Not Women". However true both statements may undoubtedly be.

I'd like to hear more about this "adult-themed" media.

Simply (and crassly) spoken:

I coordinate the production of adult-themed content, from the casting to the editing and at lots of places in-between - but it's all behind the camera, and largely boring stuff.

It ranges from the extremes of both hard and soft core (from less nudity than you likely saw in HS anatomy class, all the way through fetish / BDSM).

Some answers to common questions:

Q: Where do you get the girls? Is it difficult to find them?
A: They come from everywhere, and no, it isn't. In fact, we no longer advertise on Craigslist anymore, because of the deluge of responses we would receive - with the vastly overwhelming number of those being either coeds or sexually frustrated suburbanites - but only about 10% look the part, and less than 1/2 of 1% of those can act / perform the part.

Q: I didn't know that they did that sort of stuff in Knoxville.
A: One of the largest cable conglomerates in the world is located in Knoxville (Scripps / HGTV) - and while they DO NOT do adult-based stuff (insofar as I have ever heard or know) - it offers a glimpse that it can be done just about anywhere. In fact, if you live within 5-100 miles of both an airport and a hotel that has suites, someone is shooting porn within that radius. Guaranteed.

Q: How do you function with a massive erection all of the time?
A: That's partially true - while it's not all of the time, it is massive, as NYYVol can attest. Seriously, after about 500 shoots, it's no different than any other job. Some people stare at that all day, and some stare at widgets or legal documents, etc. The magic quickly wears off on it, though, and it just becomes what it is - a job.

I'm happy to answer any others, within reason - but want to know what everyone else does, too.

I couldn't be a CPA if my life depended on it, Card.

And as long as there is money in the world, you're in the right profession.

Studying?

I hope that you're each double-majoring in cashing checks and snapping necks (I think that's actually a course offering at The U).

But I know that you both minor in love.

My favorite law - breast enhancements are deductible for strippers and the sort. 5 year depreciable property.

Essentially - a boob job has the same shelf life the average computer in the eyes of the federal government.
