Should be Blackburn's first order of business.

Call and tell him great job he's done at Houston?

You wouldn't be happy with Herman?

He's an idiot. Against an opponent with a high powered offense like OU you build a small lead and then shut your offense down completely. That's how football is done.

That's certainly in the book the Appy State coach read.

When did they play a high powered offense?

I'd be thrilled, but the only way butch ain't here next year is if he leaves in his own.

Moreno, if Houston joins big 12 I doubt he goes anywhere.

I could see a scenario where Hart is forced out early and Blackburn installed in November if season goes off the rails.

He's developed a wide receiver playing quarterback into a better passer over the past 12 months than Lyle's staff has developed a true quarterback in his four years here.

Depends on the money. Not sure what Houston is willing to pay.

You can't develop a SEC caliber QB in 4 years, it takes at least 6.

A&M and Auburn may be looking.

This is my thinking, but an SEC job would be enticing.

With the youth of today's players that's true. You need at least 1 medical redshirt on top of the regular one to do it.

Butch: "QB'ing is overrated, otherwise, why else would we leave our QB coaching to a GA????"

The Coaches calling him all agree.

Was just thinking about this yesterday but I agree with Card. If they thought there were issues with Butch they never would have extended him, and he might not have made it to the UGA game. The board doesn't see or care about what we know to be true. All they see is the revenues and profits. Winning doesn't matter to them because it doesn't matter to the fans.

Yes he would leave for a big time job pretty simple.
