Seton Hall Series Thread

While their basketball team fights for it's NCAA tournament hopes, the Pirates baseball team will visit Knoxville this weekend for a 3 game set against the Vols. The Pirates are 2-2 on the season, splitting 4 games at the Big East/Big Ten Challenge in Florida last weekend.

Should be another nice series to get them set up for their first big challenge at the Houston College Classic next weekend.

 

Vols win game 1 9-2. Game 2 tomorrow at 1.

Dis not realize they were defending big east champs.

 

Whipped that ass. Encouraging. I wonder how their roster compared to last year.

 

Tournament champs. They were 14-13 in conference play last year, putting them in a jillion-way tie for 4th.

 

Other than tuesday's debacle in the top of the 7th, they've seemed to be impressive thus far.

 

Three straight wild pitches give the Vols a 3-2 win in 12. 6-0

 

6-0 is 6-0 I suppose.

 

I'll definitely take it.

Well, day three went a tad easier. 10-2. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP

 

What makes it even better is Vandy is now 1-6 on the season.

 

My biggest concern is the fact that we were 6-1 this time last year.
