Sounds like a concussion Butch and Co are trying to keep quiet. May or may not be cleared for A&M. No "lower extremity injury."

No. He was on the field for the final kickoff.

Not a concussion. Was a discipline issue.

If he had a concussion, it came before his last TD play. Only stuff on head injuries has been conjecture so far as I've seen. Have seen a lot of it though. But some of it makes no sense, like "his head was still hurting him Tuesday." That doesn't sound consistent with a concussion be would have played well with on Saturday.

Like Jamal in 99, they are using injury to cover him for being benched.

Does he play Saturday? Don't know that we can win without him.

he did something he wasn't supposed to and got benched. Big deal.

Lot of mixed posts going on at the other site. Some in the know claiming that people are asking reporters about Hurd and they are saying they can't comment on him, giving the indication that he hasn't practiced because they are not allowed to comment on injured players.

May still all be a lie and cover up, but it is interesting there are so many different takes on it.

A supposed family member of Hurd swears up and down that he's missed practice and has not passed concussion tests to be able to return to the practice field yet.

Others say it was a discipline issue and was simply benched.

Dooley coddled Rogers and it cost him the locker room (and otherwise).

League-level protocols would have prevented his return in the event of even a suspected concussion.

He was active and on the field for, literally, the next to last play of the game.

    It's not a concussion.

I'm not in know, nor do I claim to be in the know, nor am I trying to validate what someone else has said. Simply sharing what has been stated and thinks it's interesting there's so many takes on it.

    Don't disagree with you though

That looks like Kongbo. Skin is too dark to be Hurd.

Saying a guy has a concussion is a common cover up for a discipline issue.

KonGBO is not on the kickoff hands team, and on the "off" (opposite) side, no less.
