Most likely it is the last time we have to listen to Verne Lundquist until Atlanta.

    About all I got.

Verne doesn't bother me so much. Its Gary that makes me want to commit murder.

the commentating doesn't bug me but the CBS games go on forever and have way too many commercial breaks

Learned that the other Berry brother can play, too.

This is where I am. Verne is kind of like a drunk, likable grandpa. Gary is annoying, biased, critical uncle by marriage

I was at the game. A meteorite hitting me would have been a positive.

I'm positive we will NEVER beat Alabama again.

ehhhh... in the big picture, we proved to be really no better than most everybody else who plays Alabama.

... i guess that's not really a positive thing, but there it is.

Definitely not until Saban is gone. I just hope he gets bored of winning and retires soon.

When Gary was lauding #12 from A&M for a great hit on Berry, then going off on Nigel's hit which was 10x cleaner, I wanted to slit his throat.

I got a text from my buddy during the A&M game that sums it up pretty well.

"I want to break my fists on Gary's face."

Bama was the only good team on UT's schedule. That's about it.

Butch has given up the most rushing yards in the last 25 years+ at least twice. Auburn 2013 at 444 yards, and Bamer 2016 at 438 yards. That would be 2nd and 3rd most, respectively, of all time (I believe).
The good news, the most we gave up was Bamer in 1986, which outside of the hiccup in 1988 started a pretty gun run for us. you take what you can get.

It wasn't as big of a beat down that Lyle gave up to Oregon.

I thought I remembered Nebraska running for right at 900 in the orange bowl.
