*This is our first loss this decade as a double-digit favorite (the last one was against UCLA in 2009)

*We've dropped 110 spots in the national rankings in turnovers lost this season.

*The blue chip ratio of our current commits in the 2017 recruiting class is worse than either of Dooley's full classes.

*Since 2000, first-year coaches at South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida have a combined 7-1 record against Tennessee (thanks, Jauan). First-year Tennessee coaches are 3-6 against South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia (and Kiffin has two of those wins)

I'm still having trouble fathoming that last one.

We literally only have one win this millennium over a first-year SEC East coach who isn't at Vandy or Kentucky. And that one win came on a Hail Mary

Combined point spread of eight games this season: Tennessee by 69
Combined scoring margin of eight games this season: Tennessee by 1

You know, Jones against Kentucky this season has the special opportunity to be the first coach to lose to all the SEC East teams. Pretty special.

Apparently jones thinks that once we get bowl eligible this year it will be the first time since 2002 that we have been eligible 3 years in a row. I guess 2003 and 2004 don't count.

You can't make this stuff up. Nobody would believe it if you did.

If this isn't a full blown dumpster fire yet, I can at least see smoke

I figured, it just didn't occur to me until you actually posted it.

funny, I got accuse of hyperbole and being over dramatic when I said this was a Dooley level class.

Also there are actually people in the comments section of TV's article that say that risking losing Guarantano is sufficient reason to keep Butch. Dumb.

I just wasn't concerned as long as 10-2 was still on the table, because I thought that'd give him the pitch he needed to close strong. The facts about the existing commits haven't changed, but the chances of massively improving the class before February just dropped big time

It is dramatic to complain about a class a year before signing day.

Now, 4 months away with the season going down the shitter, it's not
