Thought we had a catch all thread? I couldn't find it. Two great games tonight. Very nice win for Indiana, but still need to play better defense.
The rest of the preseason tournaments, classics, shootouts and whatever else have some big shoes to fill.
Fell asleep Friday night but making up for it watching Nebraska and Sacramento st as i type. Also going to go ahead and give worst team in America award to Alabama a&m. Were down 70-25 when I flipped it.
Ah, we've officially entered the college basketball on all day portion of the year for the next week. Glorious.
Decent piece on basketball in Indiana. https://theringer.com/the-crossroads-of-hoosier-hysteria-479e2d99e3be#.ybwxuoj38
Indiana just lost to IP Fort Wayne. Yikes. That's what they get for playing in Fort Wayne to begin with.
Kentucky still has an unclassified basketball state tournament (although small schools play in a separate, additional "all a" tourney in february.) There is no question to me that it increases the importance when you crown one state champion instead of 6 and one Mr Basketball instead of a handful. How many classes, including whatever they do for private schools, does Tennessee have now?
