I don't even care, it's just borderline insanity of the turnover if he leaves.

Dooley is the captain of a ship run aground.

What do you call it when your supposed most loyal coach leaves for a side step job?

If we hire someone decent it will be an upgrade. The SS angle is pretty interesting considering this was one of DDs guys.

Not concerned if he leaves. The secondary, was quite frankly, piss poor last year.

    Hope he does leave.

In Spencer Hall's recruiting primer, I was pretty sure this section was meant to be about Terry Joseph.

    Correct, IP.

And do you know who is to blame for it?

Quite obviously it's the person who invented the compass, his crew for having failed to will the tides in a different direction, and the passengers on his boat who dare question both his methods and that Jamaica should be covered in snow.

Clearly not about CDD, as it refers to their football coaching acumen as being sub-standard, and not "non-existent", instead.

Tee would not leave USC for UT, even if offered.

Let that sting for a moment, then move on.

So we are hiring Randy Shannon right?

Yes. Give him 5 guaranteed years at $1M+ and a gentlemen's agreement that he has first dibs on any head coaching vacancy which opens up - and he'll be on a plane tonight.

I know that the guys at FL98 took some heat for their prognostication, but they weren't far off - at all - when they made some public statements, at least according to several people Ive since spoken with.

    Just my $.02.

And, no, WM - I don't think that you were taking a shot at them. It just reminded me to add my $.02, FWIW.
