    Absolutely great news.

Somewhat of a curiously, but conveniently, timed move.

Indiana paid $2.32M to the guy they just fired. Someone who can bring Life Championships has to be worth a bit more than that.

And that, plus an offer, may be about all it'd take.

Talk them into an offer and we'll talk.

I still have a hard time believing that anybody wants him

  4. Butch to Indiana makes sense. However, with their coach being fired for player abuse I'm not sure Butchy would be a fit since he beat the h*** out of Mack Crowder.

The two names that IU fans seem to be throwing out immediately are PJ Fleck and Tom Allen

Indiana University would like to thank our states future Hall of Fame Quarterback, Peyton Manning, for such a generous donation in the amount of $2.3M.

    I don't think he's going to Indiana.

My gut tells me things are about to get crazy with vacancies. Can't shake the feeling that Lyle is going to find his own way out.

Oregon and Phil Knight would have to be crazy to not wait on Chip Kelly.

This is still my thinking. Once jobs start going off the board and dominos begin to fall, AD's panic and make fast hires without thinking things through.

We've lost major steam in recruiting and it will only get worse. We've got to hope......pray that Jones gets on outta here this year. Maybe the Indiana job is a strong option

I might argue that we never had momentum to start with. If we did, we would have heard more after the Florida game.

I agree. I kind of meant that over the course of time. It's just continued to go down. But its getting ready to tank. There's no reason for him to be back next year. The one thing he had going for him at one time is falling completely apart.
