Since most of us won't be alive in 2100, I shortened it to 2050. Which American city will undergo the biggest change on a macro level from what we now know? I think Los Angeles takes the title for the 20th century. I'm going with Miami for the 21st. It's poised to become the de facto "capital" of Latin America, IMO, IYAM, VFL. What say the Eighth?

I don't live in, nor have i ever lived in Indianapolis. To be honest, I don't have an opinion on Miami because i don't really care about this topic.
Another contender could be Las Vegas, if the efforts to diversify the economy bear fruit. However, with gambling legality gaining relative "momentum" across the country, especially in the nation's economic and cultural capital, Las Vegas could be in danger of losing some of its pull amongst tourists. It's in the middle of a desert, after all.
Disagree. Global companies and rich folk looking at Texas will go for Houston (fastest growing metro area in country, I believe) and Dallas. El Paso will be huge population-wise, but it won't have the potential of global influence like a Miami or Las Vegas. JMHO.
Resorts World Miami (proposed): Miami is also one of the prime destinations for Brazilian, Chinese, and Russian condo buyers, alongside New York.
