1. The story in the Commonwealth will be that Cal lost on purpose to help prepare his team, just like Pitino did in '96. 2. Kentucky looked tired late in the game; Vandy was tougher, which is completely backwards from what I expected. 3. Vandy has better players than their record. I don't like their point play against top competition, but the other 4 guys and the first couple off the bench, should be able to play with anybody. 4. Kentucky is really good. Despite the feelings of Big Blue Nation, there really isn't that much difference between them and several other teams over a one and done, 40 minute game. They are still the favorites to win it all, IMO, but not by much.
Also, I am now of the opinion that UT has the most embarrassing streak of futility in this particular tournament. That's the only downside I'm seeing.
