The Official Countdown to VN Faildozer Tourney Thread

An excuse to make our first forum poll.
Should we resume this when we get this up and running or leave it be?
If we do resurrect it i plan on doing alot of reseeding.

You do it for a few reasons:

1) Because it was an excellent idea, that provides a lot of discussion.

2) Because it's destruction at VN was perhaps the original catalyst for the creation of this site. It's poetic.

3) Because it might generate a little traffic.

I would think so. I think if i started including people outside of that forum it would get a tad corny.

 

By all means do it. And if Sab hasn't worked his way to a 1 seed I don't know what will do it.

Be a great way to get some initial traffic.

 

Opportunity to vote this might be a good way to invite folks from VN.

Should start taking nominations to see if we can actually get a field of 64.

 

I would like to nominate myself.

 

I have no problem making this more of an interactive process with seeding. One voice on all that is fail can be quite the weight on one's shoulders.

 

I would like to nominate hat for not leaving TOS in a blaze of glory. It should've been one for the record books.

 

My suggestion: Figure out the pool of posters. Break the forums into conferences, discuss the theoretical "records" of fail of each forums' frequenters.

Finally, seed as before based on the discussed "records", and then have a vote/discussion thread for each tourney game. This can easily last into October.

The timing makes much more sense now. The actual time he posted his resignation was the best time for the thread to last as long as it did. With that said, you're right. I just expected the content to be a bigger "[uck fay] all yall" type of post.
