I would put Gruden #1 but I think that ship sailed.

 

I know Kelly would be better than Butch, but I kinda agree with Groves in that, his offense is out there now. Nothing new to be seen. Not sure he's a better coach than... Dan Mullen for instance.

Assuming we'll hire Jeff Brohm or Mike Norvell.

 

This is my list also. Gruden is first choice but Kelly is probably more getable.

 

Brohm has beaten more sec teams than Butch or Dooley when they were hired

 

We aren't going to hire a good coach so just keep Butch, keep running it half ass, and be happy with a half filled Neyland.

 

He's a top 5 coach in the nation. He'll either be in the playoff within three years or he'll be in the SEC where maybe Saban keeps him out.

 

Harbaugh and Urban may keep him out, but I don't see any big 10 team hiring him right now.
