I’m reading this as he’s fired after his next loss. And if we somehow win both, he’s obviously safe since no way he could justifiably be fired without a collapse down the road.

Serious question. What if the Tide come out and play awful and Tennessee somehow hangs around and wins? I know there's about a .00000000000001% chance of this happening, but let's play the improbable what if game for a moment.

I'm assuming that's an automatic time buyer for Butch if that somehow happens. Anyone want to take a stab on how that plays out in that parallel universe?
