Someone said that Clay Travis was reporting that Manning to Titans was a done deal.

I went to see for myself, and after doing so, attempted to put him on the ol' "Following" list - and it said that we (8th Maxim) couldn't follow him.

Which one of you guys hurt his feelings?

I've said my fair share about him over time. Most of it not complimentary.

 

Perhaps you didn't know that he lives in Nashville and attended Vandy Law?

Not sure what more credentials the man needs, honestly.

 

His career is interesting. At one time he fancied himself the next great Flannery O'Connor, and then at some point decided he wanted to be an un-funny Howard Stern. And I mean really un-funny.

 

He lives in Nashville. Tennessee's capital. Yeah, that one.

And he graduated from Vandy Law. Sorry, I meant: THE Vandy Law.

And he's written two books. Good ones.

I haven't written two books, am not smart enough to attend THE Vandy Law or cosmopolitan enough to live in Nashville.

Why the hate for the guy, when he's clearly an up'n comer, making his way on equal parts entertainment and intelligence?

Of course the guy loves Trooper Franklin - he is a Nashville sports guy. How many times can you talk about Fischer's 'stache, Stallings tourney failings and Nashville's exploding Bama fanbase?

Got a serious chuckle out of Manning delaying the biggest free agent announcement in NFL history for a few days so that Bud Adams' grandson's wedding could enjoy the spotlight. [uck fay].
